Re: scale rot/odd scale?
Hi,
What kind of bedding are you using in her tank?
How high is the humidity of it (tricky to measure I know)?
Does she soak or anything like that?
How does the scale itself look apart from colour? Is it crinkled or rough at the edge?
I would keep and eye on it and see what it's like after she sheds first.

Re: scale rot/odd scale?
im using reptibark and its pretty dry now, around 45 to 50%
the vet told me to bathe her twice a day for a bad shed and im wondering if thats how it happened.ive been misting the tank but i dont remove the hide so the bedding under the hide stays dry.the scale looks lite brown and dry/flakey.hopefully the neo will help.

Re: scale rot/odd scale?
Hi,
Why soaking so often? Normaly one soak allows the stuck shed to be removed unless there are complicating factors.
Is it the same procedure as in the sticky?

Re: scale rot/odd scale?
I've got a girl that I am taking to the vet for scale rot tomorrow. I put her on paper towels a month ago and have been treating her with neosporin daily. I was hoping it would look better by her next shed. She shed earlier this week and it looks a little worse. I'll try to get a pic of it later today....

Re: scale rot/odd scale?
i was soaking her once a day for about 30 min via sticky.went to the vet and he said the bad shed was probly due to parasites.i told him i was soaking once for 30 and he said to soak twice at 15min.the last shed i had her humidity at no less than 60% so i kinda blaim parasites as well.hopefully this time will be better since she has had 2 doses of meds.
