    Few BP questions

I bought a 1 month old 100% Heterozygous Albino Female.

    My questions

    1) How long after she eats will she poo? How long after in average?

    2) Will a bp get long enough to be put on the shoulders like i see some people do with boa's i believe they are?

    3) After a week + the feeding , So after i wait 10 days, how should i go with handling her, and the more i handle her the more she gets used to me or the more she gets stressed?

That depends on how often/ much she eats and a few other factors. What size is she (weight in grams is a good indicator for us to judge) and when did she shed/ eat last?

They tend to go when they shed but not always - basically don't worry about it too much as it can take a while.

Ball pythons can reach almost 6 foot in length so yes they get big enough. Whether putting an animal round your neck is a good idea is dependant on a few factors though.

A little of both really so it is best to keep the handling sessions short at first and keep an eye on her behaviour to judge if it is stressing her out.

She will be with you for a long time so you can afford to go slowly at the beginning and get her off to the best start you can.

If she stops eating for example I would suggest stopping the handling sessions to see if that helps.

I have a new little guy myself I only just got and, while it is killing me to do so, I am keeping the handling to a minimum until I am happy he is eating on a good regular schedule.

Have a read of our caresheet and see if that helps answer some questions.
