    Gotta love reading the news

The news just keeps on giving the reptiles hobby a bad name.

no .. HE gave the reptile hobby a bad name. He was keeping them illegaly ... and anyone doing that is in the wrong, and deserves to have the law thrown at him. I am all for keeping animals and snakes, but if your state requires you to have a permit to be able to do so .. then it's your responsibility to obey that law.
