    Update :)

As many of you know a couple weeks ago my bp got out of his tank and I could not find him. Since then we have been moving into our new home. I have waited until the last days to move the animals. I wanted the new house to be unpacked and settled before starting to move snakes, lizards, bunnies, etc.....

Well, last night when I was moving my King Snake.....Low and behold Kami was UNDER her tank wrapped up to the heating pad. Where ever he went to, he came back! He wasn't under there when I first lost him, I checked under all the cages, I tore my bedroom apart (as thats where I was keeping them).

I keep my tanks on little wood blocks to keep the heat source up off the shelving. Luckily he hasn't seemed to burn himself being right next to the heat source, he doesn't seem skinny, looks like he will be shedding in a day or two, and is as grumpy as ever . He was NOT happy for me to have found him, he was quite happy in his little hidy spot, although he was very VERy thirsty, he drank a LOT of water when he got back in his tank.

I am overjoyed to have finally found him, and glad that I did so before we were completely moved out. He is much more secure at the new house....and NO one will be handling my snakes if I am not there! So as to avoid a similar situation!

    Yeah
    I am Kim......
6 bp's, 1 cali king, 1 red footed tort, 2 cats, 2 dogs, assortment of feeders.....

Oh, awesome! I'm so happy for you! I'd FREAK if I lost my little darling!
Sounds like he found a nice little warm nook though.

So happy he returned. He is a fabulous snake and I was worried about him surviving any cold weather...
