    feeding my new ball python

The store I got it from said feed it one mouse one time a week. I feed my one lastnight for the first time, and it eat it FAST. Then seemed to be looking up at where I put the first one in. Was my snake still hungry? It's about 2ft long and maybe 1" or so in width.

Once they are in hunt mode, they stay in hunt mode for a period of time after feeding. It doesn't mean that they "need" another one.

What size was the mouse that you fed?

If your description of the snake's size is accruate, then one a week should be fine.

Did you get the mice from like petco or petsmart? If you did... just keep in mind I bought a large adult there when the reptile store near me was out and it was the size of a hopper mouse(they run small). So if you are going to keep buying them from there - go by how big they are compared to how big your snake is around the middle.
