    Fecal Floats. DIY?

Fecal Floats. Is there a DIY (Do it yourself) way??? Please read this with an open mind, and read the disclousre twice.

Disclosure: If you think your ball python is sick and or has parasites, you should take it to the vet for testing and treatment as soon as possible. That said, this thread is not about snakes that appear to be sick.

I am talking about regular do it yourself, freshly laid, poop checks on snakes that appear to be healthy. Think of how great it would be to be able to test test your enitre collection every 6 months or so! Obviously if my test results showed something might be off, I would immediately take my snake to the vet for a retest and possbile treatment.

So, what all is involved in a fecal test? what are the ingredients and procedures? Is it even feasable as a DIY project? Please share your thoughts.
