    Water bowl size

    Hi everyone !
What would be the right size if I have a 30 x12 glass tank ?
The one that I have right now is 8'', but I think is too big for the tank size. My ball python is 3' 3'' long.
    NO PAIN, NO GAIN!!

4-6 inches is fine, as long as there is always water in it

    Re: Water bowl size

Some people say that your water bowls should be big enough for
your snake to soak in. Others will tell you just the opposite.

I say, as long as you don't have a humidity problem, (and other husbandry is 'as it should be') who cares?
    Use what works for you.

I have a 3200g female and to make more space in her tub I gave her a small bowl. Like maybe 3".. she still soaks in it occasionally. She submerges herself 3 inches at a time lol..

Uhm, how big is your snake?
That's probably a waste of space and a bit too large for anything.. I know.. I've made the mistake myself. D:

    Edit:
OP: It really depends on what you want, if you want soaking availability then make it so, if not 5-6" is probably fine.
