I have the solution to humidity issues.
And it is plexi glass actually acrylic if you want you can put over the screen top or completely replace it. Contact a company like tap plastics and theyll even do the cutting and drilling for you for a small fee. Seriously it boosted my humidity by like 20%

yes it works, a cheaper method though is to use aluminum foil and duct tape and cut out a vent on the top... Argentra gave me top notch instuctions on how to do this... Ive had nothing but perfect sheds since I made this alteration...

for now, while I am still using my tank waiting for my rack, I place a wet cloth over half of the screen, and that has solved my issues right away.

We were doing the wet cloth thing too but because of the bacteria I just use a sheet of plastic that I got from the craft department at walmart. I think it cost me less than $.60 for more than what I needed. It does not work as great as the wet cloth but at least it's cleaner.

Re: I have the solution to humidity issues.
Alice lives in glass, so I use a variety of methods. I have aluminum foil over top with circle cut out for lighting and air. On top of half of that, I have a layer of Glad Press 'n Seal that sticks to itself and everything else really well. My husband made the homemade humidifier shown in a sticky somewhere on this forum. Those methods alone keep my humidity between 55 and 60. During shed, I add a small dish of dampened moss, which bumps it up to around 70. Voila....perfect shed!

foil has worked well for me, but plexiglass looks better and is a clean way to control humidity

Nice!!! All my tanks are covered with plexiglass. Actually if you get a piece one quarter of an inch thick and cut it to fit exactly in the recessed top of the tank, you can put your screen top right over the top of it.
