Bad shed, ive tried everything
OK here is the situation. he tried to shed, unaware of the situation i fed him. now it seems he is either too damn lazy to shed or forgot to do it. I saoked him for about 45 minutes the other day, most of the shed came off, leaving the area about 4 inches from his head to mid "neck" area. he is soaking now been almost an hour and only a little bit came off so i put him back to soak for a while longer.
its not the bad shed that worries me, its his apparent lack of interest in completing the process. he spends almost 90% of his time on the cool side of the enclosure. the warm temps are 83-85 even with the AC on and the cool side sits about 77-81 not a huge difference i know but still the best i can do until i get all the duct tape on the lid set up right.

Re: Bad shed, ive tried everything
humidity is around 50% i added a bunch of moss today to help with that. like i said im working on the duct tape cover. I finally did get the last bit off a few minutes ago, hes fine now. Im wondering since, before i had him the previous owner barely fed him, is he just inexpirenced? or is humidity to blame?
