Finally a new scale= New Exciting Weights!! (DUW)

So, when my roommate and I are at school our collections are housed together. Understandably, however, in the summer we each take out individual snakes home. I had gotten into the habit of weighing my animals using her digital scale, so when I came home for the summer I resigned myself to not being able to weigh anybody again until August....

Well, the suspense was killing me, and today I was at Walmart so I was like: 'Hmm, wonder if they have scale?' Lo and Behold, in the kitchen section was a digital kitchen scale that works up to five pounds, reads out in grams or pounds, and came with a weighing bin. I couldn't resist! So I snatched the scale up, brought it home, and gleefully weighed everybody. All snakes are fed every 7 days. Pics are old pics, just because I like including pictures.

First up. Pumpkin Pie, a CH 07 girl who weighed approximately 380ish grams at the beginning a May. She now weighs in at a whopping 510 grams. She has always been a slow grower, so I was stoked.

Next up PB, an 07 Pastel Male who had always been smaller. He weighed approximately 440ish grams at the beginning of the summer. Now he weighs in at 661 grams.

Third, My 07 Pastel Het for Hypo Female. She weighed around 550ish grams at the beginning of the summer. Now she weighs 766 grams!

Finally, and most exciting, my 07 Cinnamon Pastel Female. She weighed about 580ish grams at the beginning of the summer. She has always been my most consistent eater. None of the rest of mine eat reliably in shed, she always does. I knew she was the largest, but imagine my surprise when the scale read 888 grams!! She is huge!!

I just had to share my scale-related-joy!

    Go NCSU Wolfpack!
