Not without supervision.
What I usually do is take him out and let him crawl around in my hands and on my body. I'll also lay him down on a table and let him move around, using my body or hands to keep him from falling off.

Re: takeing snake out
I have never let my snake crawl around my house because I have other animals that could pose a threat to the snake and because I'd be afraid of losing track of the snake's whereabouts.
My larger snakes are in 2x3x1 RBI reptile cages and the floor space provided permits cruising space at night. I am working hard to afford more RBI cages so that the snakes I have that are large and still in 32qt tubs can be upgraded. That said, not all of my snakes will go into cages because I get the feeling from watching them that some are perfectly fine in the 32qt tubs and might not acclimate well into a larger space- at least at this time.
I do take my snakes out about once a week for a visual, maybe a weight check, and just to have the opportunity to hold them.

Re: takeing snake out
Well your poll says take them out to exercise, but your posts says let them roam the house.
Two different questions that I would have 2 different answers for.

Re: takeing snake out
I have tanks and I see my snakes at night from time to time and the crawl around all night.... I rarely handle them, I like to observe them more than handle.....
I have always fed my snakes in a different container, they have become used to it and as soon as I put them in the feeding tub you can see them go into feeding mode... Somtimes I handle them for 5-10 mins before... I know many people say this is a no no but I believe the snakes have grown to like it this way....

Re: taking snake out
No free roaming...dogs on the loose, lost snake, same reasons as everyone else. Handling? Yep...I actually handle Alice some everyday EXCEPT 48 hours after feeding and at certain points during shed cycle. After a week in his hide, he had a perfect shed for me last night and was quite active when I had him out this evening to inspect his new skin! Tomorrow he is rewarded with a nice fat mouse

Re: taking snake out
Oh yeah...Alice gets to go outside a couple of days a week, too. I love to watch him explore in the grass. We feed birds and one day a blue jay was flying around hoping for peanuts when he spotted Alice in the grass beneath the tree and started calling to all his blue jay friends. He stayed up in the tree and never took his eyes off Alice. That was pretty interesting to watch. Don't worry, I was right there with him
