    So yesterday was feeding day....

Ok so it all goes normal, a get my mice and rats thawed and fed to the right snakes. I feed three rats right know, 2 weaners to my ball( growing up smalls for her) and one weaner to my corn(yes, hes that big). Well I normaly check on the snakes that get more than one prey item the nextt day to see if they ate it all. Today was no normal, I went in checked on the ball, and how am I greeted?

An angry hungry( she has a nice sized lump in her bellie!) "Im going to like inflict serious pain to the food bringer if he doesnt hand over more rats!" snake. I don't know what to do with her. I love the Wysocki influenced feeding responce, hungry when there full.

This thread was semi-long and pointless..

Re: So yesterday was feeding day....

I went to open( he's in shed, so he needed a spray down) a the very extremely large corns tub, and I am looking down at another ( quite larger) hungry snake in deep blue. Yay! This snake is 4.5ft and like 950gs and he's MALE. I fed him a weanling rat yesterday, and he barely has a lump. I dunno if I should give him a small rat next time? He's huge.

For a 950g ball python I would be feeding a small or medium sized rat, depending on the gram size of where you buy your rats. I would choose a nice ~80g rat

The thing is, he's not a ball, he's a corn snake.

    Alright Jo, I found it.

    http://www.ball-pythons.net/forums/s...ighlight=Beast

That was before I had a scale, he is actually around 950Gs. The breeder I got him from said he might be a hybrid, she got him as a rescue. His head isn't typical corn head, more bull snake-ish. Also keep in mind, I have very long and thick arms.
