The bare minimum should be 4x2x2 for a male. Look at boaphile.

I have 5 of those cages. It will be fine for a male (I even keep a small adult female in one - she has plenty of room) - you could look at boaphile but I believe there is a little wait for a cage to be delivered to you (from what I have read) and they have never responded to my e-mails.

The customer service at RBI is great, if you have any questions they will get answered usually the same or next day, I got all my cages 1 to 2 weeks or so after I ordered them

My males are all in either Ballroom racks (boaphile) or in cb-70 racks (RBI). They are about 3 feet deep x 2 ft wide x 7 inches tall and they are absolutely fine in them. If you want a decent sized cage for hides and decorative stuff, go with a larger one.

Thought these pictures might be a good size reference for you..

This is my 4'x2' 12" high RBI cage that I keep one of my small adult female RTBs in (She is pretty comparable to adult male RTBs I have seen before - she is 5'8" and 16lbs - Hard to tell since she is all curled up in the pictures though)

And my house is not as dirty as that room! This snake is in a kind of quarantine situation so she is in the unused half of my bathroom.

If you can afford the cage and space your snake will not mind a larger cage - but the 4' RBI cage will work for an RTB who isn't monstrous in size.

Go with a boaphile, simply the best for boas
