My snake hasn't shhh yet...
I got him 3 weeks ago from a pet store for cheap. I asked when the last time he ate was when I purchased him, and the lady replied saying it was about a month ago. Ok...so I asked her to throw in a mouse, and she gave me a pinky. He ate right when when he got home while I was putting his enclosure together, and shed that night! (A good clean shed tho)
Since then last Tuesday he ate a bigger mouse size, a small white, live. Yesterday I bought 2 mice kinda smaller whities, and I was just gunna see if he wanted it, so I pre-scented, and put him in the tub with a mouse and kept the other in the box in the tub. He attacked successfully within a minuted and ate the mouse. i was waiting 5 minutes before I fed him his second, if I was going to and he was trying to get in the box with the other mouse. So I took it out and put it on the opposite side, and he bolted over and ate the other mouse, first strike.
I am concerned though because he hasnt crapped yet. And I am wondering if I should continue with 2 mice?
Thanks in advance!

They poo when they feel like it. Some may not go for about a month. So don't be surprised if a week or two go by with no poop!

Re: My snake hasn't shhh yet...
If the BP was only being offered pinky mice at the pet store (oh big surprise that is ) then it's likely been underfed. Underfed means nothing left to poop out.
Just put your snake on an every 5 or every 7 day feeding of one appropriately sized prey item (two if they total the volume of one) and you'll do fine.
Snakes, heck any animal including us, needs certain things in order to poop. They need an appropriate amount of food coming in to provide nutrition to grow on and leave something over for waste product. They need water or to get enough hydration from their prey (that prey would have to be big enough and in good shape to provide that). They need to move around to stimulate their bowels. If they have all of that...they generally will poop when they need to.
Any idea how old this snake is or it's current weight?

I know I wasn't the one who asked the question, but your answers were very helpful to me. I got mine about a week ago and it still hasn't pooped, so I was(not anymore) wondering if something may be wrong. Thanks!

Re: My snake hasn't shhh yet...
I just spent weeks worrying about my snake because it wouldn't go poo. Sometimes it takes a while, especially if they haven't been eating too frequently. Gently feel your snake's underside from about halfway down all the way to the tail. If you feel some semi-hard material (it will feel like poop) near the tail it may be very soon. If you just feel good size softer material further up near the stomach it may be a little while.
Good luck!

Nothing to worry about. The main factor in snake poop is the temperature. If its too cool it takes longer to digest so obviously it takes longer to poop. I usually get poop about 1-2 weeks after a feeding. Some times they hold it all in and drop a huge one.
