    Am I overfeeding my ball?

Today "the guy" at the petstore claims I overfed my ball python last week and needed to go back to fuzzies instead of hoppers (mice.) My ball weighs 91 grams empty and is probably around 2 months old. Last week he had two hoppers at 11g each. This week he only got the 9g fuzzy that "the guy" recommended. Which one of us is right?

......... I really hate those 'guys at the petstore'

That is a load. Even a hatchling BP can eat a hopper mouse. You should actually be trying a small adult mouse, or at smallest a large hopper/small weanling!

Remember, the prey item should be the same width as your snake at its widest point, or weigh 10% of the snake weight (in this case, a 9 gram mouse.)
