    2nd clutch in the incubator

Well this clutch was a pleasant surprise. The female was quite small (1450g) but because she was proven and had laid eggs at this size I wasn't too concerned. The ovulation was tiny so I had been thinking the worst and was expecting slugs. I awoke saturday to 6 (fairly small) fertile eggs.. Normal x Mojave! Mom didn't even try to bite me..

    Here are some pics:

Thanks!! I think luck is on my side! I have two quarantined girls that are showing signs.. Hopefully they will give me some eggs, they were bred to a lesser before I bought them.

My 2nd clutch this year was kind of like that. Female was a bit smaller than I would have liked but she stopped eating so thought why not. She was just under 1500g I wasnt sure she was even going to lay. I ended up with 4 smaller but perfect eggs. She didnt even hiss when I took her off the eggs.

I got her eating again which is a bonus. I had to kickstart her on a live weaned rat but I followed it up the next day with a medium F/T and she took it fast..

I wish my other girls would eat this good
