leaving my eggs... should i be worried?

so i have to attend a function in brooklyn on approx. day 50 of my clutches. i wont be able to return until day 51 or 52. should i be worried or do i still have a few more days until pipping and hatching??

The earliest I've ever had my bps come out of the eggs in 5+ years of doing this is at day 54. So I'd say your safe. Usually I see heads on day 56 or 57.

You could always foster them out to another Mother hen while your gone. They'll sit on just about anything round and white. Not to mention, give you some time to stretch those legs!

You'll be fine. I left my eggs for 10 days during my wedding, although it was more in the middle of the duration; it was probably the best thing for the eggs because I wasnt around to disturb them!
