small problem need some help
so, after a week of spending way too much time monitoring temps and humidity in my glass aquarium, I decided to go with a plastic tub. I just have one small problem. I don't own a drill or soldering iron to put vent holes in it. any ideas out there?

Uh.. No..
Go to WalMart, Hobby Lobby(or any craft store), Home Depot, or even a Big Lots, and get a hobby soldering iron. They run around $4.
OR
You can get a small nail(or an ice pick), hold it with pliers over a gas stove and melt a few holes(6-8) on each side of the tub. Do this in a ventilated area unless you like losing brain cells

I was doing that today with thick plastic!
Basically, I melted holes into this thick plastic tub using a very long screw (I couldn't find a nail..) and it worked pretty well. Not too big or little of holes either. :]
