    Another silly flexwatt question

Do you cover the entire flexwatt panel with the foil tape, or just the edges? (the parts i have covered around the edges seem to heat more evenly, faster, etc).

thanks guys, this is really my first venture with flexwatt.

Mine are only on the edges. As a matter of fact I have never seen anyone cover the whole thing.

Ditto... just the edges... you want to have the least amount of resistance when you slide your tubs in and out and plastic against foil... = resistance.

I cover the whole piece. I have heard a tub can rub holes in the flexwatt. So I put the tape on to help protect the flexwatt.

so its just a personal thing?

im most worried about hot spots forming over where the tape is that could be harmful to my girl. the entire set up is on a thermostat so im not -that- worried, but the fear is still always there.
