Re: Check list
Don't buy the clips and insulators for the flexwatt, they aren't good connectors and can come apart. Just email rich after you buy cords from him and ask him to solder the connections. They won't come apart that way.
Get the foil tape at WalMart, it's $6. Chlorhexidine is MUCH cheaper at www.valleyvet.com for a gallon of the concentrate. Shipping isn't much either.
Hides, I wouldn't even bother getting hides unless you just have to have that particular type. Bowls from the dollar store work just as well.
Water bowls can be found at either the dollar store or at WalMart for $1-$2. VanNess Crock dishes from Wally World are great and aren't easily tipped.
You can also find digital thermometer/hygrometer units for ALOT cheaper. I can't imagine spending $25 on one unit. I spent $10 on a wireless unit that measures indoor and outdoor temps. Using it in one of my egg boxes right now. AcuRites work well.
OH and the AC adapter. My scale has a plug for one but also takes 9V batteries. I've replaced the battery ONCE in 4 years of having that scale. Save your money.

?.? Normals, 1.0 100% Het Pied Classic Jungle, 1.0 Yellow Hypo, 0.1 100% Het Butterscotch Hypo, 0.1 100% Het VPI Hypo, 0.1 100% Het Yellow Hypo, 1.0 Enchi, 1.1 Yellowbellies, 0.1 YB Granite, 1.0 Black Pastel, 1.0 Lemon Pastel, 0.1 50% Possible Het Banded Albino, 0.1 Spider, 1.0 Fire, 0.2 Granite

Re: Check list
I got the cheap cat foot bowls for water dishes at Target. They are square and have openings that little balls fit through just fine so they can use them as hides. They will start lifting the bowl at around 200g so they last awhile.....
I just checked all the bowls to make sure there were no rough spots underneith......

Re: Check list
if you have an ikea nearby I know a couple breeders using these water bowls that have a built in hide.. they have two sized and are cheap ($.99) I used to buy expensive bowls but these are great and can't be tipped over in a rack.
