Question Help me with regurgitation rules...

    Hey everyone...

My juvenile regurged the two fuzzies I fed him because I fed him too soon after his last (i upped to two fuzzies cause I had no hoppers and because he seems too big for one fuzzy now).

ANyhow...do the same rules apply to a juvenile (10-14 days wait until next feeding)? I'm wondering cause I know juveniles can eat more often (and Wolfgang does no problem until our little incident).

Oh jeez...if you ask for advise you need to take the advice
So now you need to wait 2 weeks until you feed again and you need to feed a smaller than normal prey size. Regurg is really hard on a snake's system.....

I'm not sure of the advice you are referring to...

    All of the wrinkling threads!
I think that maybe you are micromanaging to the point where your snake is throwing it back at you!!
You are a very good snake keeper and are asking all of the right questions and are just going through a bit of a steep learning curve right now. Just calm down so that your snake can calm down too!
Don't hold your snake or do anything with your snake for the next 2 weeks (14 days). Clean the environment and give clean water, but other than that, leave the snake alone. Make sure the snake is in a quiet, non-traffic area and that the sides of the tank are covered dark (except the front).
Leaving your snake alone allows tow things to happen: Your snake gets better and chills out, and you get to stay on this forum and read and learn and ask
Again, you will succeed!!!! And so will your snake!!!!

    Oh...hee hee...yeah, that's right.

Thanks for the words of confidence. This regurge happened before I joined this forum and started the barrage of threads. His wrinkles have cleared up since I took the lamp out and went UTH all the way, introduced a humid hide (which he stays in non stop). I cleaned out his enclosure and there was some standing water.

He's doing well now, I just wanted to know whether I must wait that long with a juvenile. Since his skin has returned to normal I'm very pleased and I appreciate everyone's support.

Re: Help me with regurgitation rules...

No. I havent taken him to the vet over these issues cause both of them were my fault.

The wrinkles have cleared up and his skin is beautiful now. The regurge was cause I fed him too soon after his last feeding cause I thought that the wrinkles might have been dehydration due to being underfed.
