I found some old pictures today and found it interesting to see how much Shay has grown in the 11 months I've had her. She was a rescue that I got last July, and was in horrible shape, very underweight and small. She's at least five months older than my male nic, and was the same size as him when I got her, 30 inches at about 18 months old. My 9 month old albino is around that size.

November 25, 2007. after four months Shay is finally a little bigger than Panda the nic, who is only 13 months old.


January 2, 2008. after six months Shay is noticably larger than Panda.



April 28, 2008. after nine months. My girlfriend holding Shay for the first time.


Yesterday, June 15, 2008. after 11 months Shay is just shy of five feet and five pounds.


Amazing what regular feeding will do.
