I had a visit today

Today I had a little visitor, which is not uncommon around here when I don't pick them up on the road to save them from being run over by a car, I found them on the front loan, here is today's visitor

Cool little Eastern Box Turtle (I think) there Deborah, we don't have many creatures around us in the condo complex, a few anoles here and there, thats about it.

Your visitor has some very nice eyes and fantastic coloration! When I was growing up in Florida, we used to get some small turtles like him around. They had burrows in our back yard, and we used to have a lot of fun trying to catch them!

He is very cute... I think I like pics of wild turtles on the lamb. They also just seem healthier then the ones I see in captivity.
