    Racks...

    Hey guys,

I have finally decided to start looking for a rack. I want to expand my collection and i dont want to keep tanks all around the house.

So that being said, I need a ton of info on racks, how do i set it up, whats a good rack and fairly inexpensive. I dont get all the heat tape and all that talk, so info on getting all that together would be greatly appreciated...

I would love to see pics of you racks, Im not looking for something big mayne just something to hold a few snakes. Nothing more than 10 or so.

    thanks!!

    Re: Racks...

For ordering, Reptile Basics is da place!

I, however, am building my own racks. Cheaper, more fun, and I can make them to my own specs (I.E. I don't like 6" high tubs for adults). Making two three slot adult racks using 90qt Sterilite tubs (the same length and width as the 41s, but 12" high), and eventually will be building a hatchling rack and possibly a juvi rack.

Reptile Basics or Animal Plastics are your best bet. Im buying an Animal Plastics in the near future for my soon to be expanded collection.

Cant go wrong with either from what ive heard around here.

    Re: Racks...

Check out the animal plastics economy line of racks. I just bought two and so far they're great. I know they make one now for the 41qt tubs. It comes in several different sizes as far as number of tubs goes. They're not on their website, but call them or email them and they can hook you up.

Some people don't have that kind of money to spend on racks

I have bought racks from Reptile Basics, and love them. They have the heat included, and shipping is included in the price too. You will have to buy a thermostat though. Call up Rich at Reptile Basics, and he will get you all set up. Good luck, and hope this helps.
