    Pick a hide any hide....

Does anyone elses bps choose one hide to use and refuse to use any others? I had lesser in a small exoterra hide and he got to big for it, so I moved him into a hide one size up. He did not use it and its been about three or four weeks. On a hunch I stick the old hide back in there, and this morning I home and find that its around one inch off the ground and a very snug lesser in it!

Come here little guy. You're awfully cute and fluffy but unfortunately for you, you're made of meat

How cute! LOL!!! Can't you find an intermediate sized hide? I mean, a size between the old hide and the new hide?? Perhaps that could work. When I first brought my little guy, it took him three days to finally realize he had hides =)

Re: Pick a hide any hide....

Well when I first got my BP he would always go in his hide on the warm side (the only hide I had at the time), So then I read on the forums that I needed to get one for cool and warm. So I didn't get an Identical hide to that one on the warm side, but he wouldn't go for the new one on the cold side. But Now, he won't leave the one on the cold side (not really cold cold). I just thought that was funny because he was religious about going to the warm side hide.

    Sorry I'm just rambling. :p

I have water bowls with hides built in I usually see mine an inch in the air. They love it, its snug, and they think they are hiding. Its the best I can do for a hide in a rack. Sometimes they are so tight I can't even pull out the rubbermaid.
