Smile First Shed!!! woop woop.. questions though?

About four or five days ago I had posted a thread talking about how my 6 month ball wouldn't eat this past week, since he's had absolutely no problem eating ever before..it seemed like once i pre scented and dropped the mouse in, my ball and the mouse would just look face to face( kinda funny) and then my ball would just shy away like he wasn't interested.

Well back when he didn't eat I had noticed his eyes were getting that "blue-milky" look, so I was more than 99% sure the shed was the reason for him acting like he was... Wellllll i checked his tub today and laying right next to his hide was a biigg piece of shed ..first time he's shed since I had him. It was like all bundled up so i pulled it apart and it appears to be the whole piece i think. I don't see any stuck shed on him and no pieces around the tub,..just this one big piece.. He looks great though, shiny n' smooth But do you guys think that was a typical full shed?? and When do you think I can try to re-feed him now that he's done shedding??

Thnaks guys for all your help

Yup, sounds like a good full shed to me. Just make sure that the tail tip came off and you should be golden...

As for feeding, you should be fine to feed right after shed. My little one won't eat in shed, but once she's done, she starts hunting immediately...

I always offer food on feeding day to all of my snakes without regard to whether they are in any stages of shed. I figure it is for them to accept or refuse For my snakes, sometimes they'll eat during the process and sometimes they'll refuse...
