I dont stop but thats just me and my snake. She doesnt seem to mind it she will even eat if offered even when deep in blue. Not recommending it to anyone but thats just my situation.

    Re: Handling In Shed

Mine stress out if handled when in blue. I stop handling when I see them getting darker before they go blue.

    Re: Handling In Shed

I handle my bp during a shed cycle pink belly included, in light blue sometimes, but I give him space once his eyes have really clouded.

    Re: Handling In Shed

I leave my snakes alone during a shed except to offer food which is occasionally refused.

    Re: Handling In Shed

i dont really handle after their eyes start getting cloudy, i dont want them to get stressed from not being able to see me that well, just seeing a huge object coming towards them haha but then again i haven't had my bp's that long so they're not that used to me yet. but i try to leave them alone until the shed is complete.

    Re: Handling In Shed

I have too many snakes to mess with my snakes while in blue... if ones in blue I just pull out another ... Mine dont leave their hides when theyre in shed so thats a good enough reason for me to leave them alone.
