My Football Wedding...It's GOOD!!!!

Hey all, as some of you know, I recently went back hom to Kansas City and got married on the 24th. I married a special woman...so special she allowed us to have our wedding at arrowhead stadium! Im a fan. Anyway, long story short....the wedding party was allowed on the field for some photos...we were to stay mainly in the endzone. Well, my father in law got a football and went to the 20 and started to egg me on....mean while one of the arrowhead security guards said we arent really allowed to do this, but you know, this was a lifetime opportunity for me...what the hell...I nailed the sucker! 30 yarder in dresh shoes...right up the middle. This was no toe poke...I played soccer for 8 years so I have a good idea on how to kick a ball.... Never-the-less....an awesome wedding and a good sign....

Anyway, this will have to hold you over for now until I can see what our photographer got. This was a shot a friend got from up in the reception area. You will just have to believe me that I made it and hopefully the film guy (white shirt on left) got the kick filmed.

Just to break it down a bit:

My big ass bald head is on the 27

My father in-law is on the 20

and my wife (who threatened me if I hit her) is standing right in front of the goal.... :lol:

Congrats! Looks like ya'll had a great time! I'm a HUGE football fan too... Never would have thought to have a football wedding! Great idea. Maybe if we ever renew our vows, we can do it at Lambeau field! That would be too cool! Go Packers!

Nice, I remember getting to play our football games there after one of the chiefs game when I was little. Dont remember the league name but it was equivalent to pop warner.
