Hissing

Tonight was the first time my BP ever hissed at me. I gave him a minute to calm down and then looked him over. I had a feeling he would be going into shed soon, and sure enough, pink belly

I've never heard our BP hissing....is it loud enough where you can hear it or do you have to listen closely?

When I slid the screen of the tank and reached in, he puffed up and then made a hissing sound. It wasn't really loud, but I heard it clearly. Then his body got really rigid for minute until he calmed down.

Some are more hissy than others. Thats what they do if startled or scared/nervous.
