So, I built a new snake rack for the group of snakes I have coming in from a friend. No they aren't rescues or in horrible conditions, she is a great snake owner who is downsizing considerably. I have the rack built and will just be putting the flexwatt on the back soon with a thermostat soon as they arrive.

Ok, and on to my small victories.
One is a new addition to my group that i have now, Githa came from a couple who were keeping her in a 100 gal wall tank with two other BP's she is gorgeous and big, but they said she refuses to eat Rats. I found this odd since they were feeding her 4 mice a week. Well, after letting her settle into her tub, I offered her a medium rat as her first meal with me. She head shook with excitement, snapped it up like her life depended on it and wolfed it down. So much for 'she will never eat a rat'

My other small victory is that I got my male, BoBo to eat a rat again today.. either that or the rat learned invisibility spells. How? by just letting him be. His temps and everything are perfect, so today i dropped in a rat and mostly walked away, leaving him for 5 minute sets. and one check, rat was running around the cage, second check, invisible rat... ::does a happy dance::
In not so great news, Hadiya has lost a lot of weight. She has another vet appointment on monday in the hopes that SOMETHING can be done. If she hadn't lost so much I would leave her be and let her rehab, but that i can pinch her skin and pull it away from her spine tells me she has lost way more than is healthy. I'm also going to have the vet look at her jaw slices and see what she thinks. We shall have to see what is said before i make a decision on where i want to go with her.
