Smile New BP, and new to forum

    Hi Everyone,

I am new to the forum and wanted to say hello. I just picked up my first ball python on Sunday. He ate at the store while I was there and seems to be in good health. He is still getting acclimated to the new surroundings, and has yet to find the hides I have in there for him. He loves climbing on the branches that are in there tho. I haven't named him yet, but that will be coming soon along with some pictures.

    Matt

    Welcome Matt!!
Can't wait for the pictures after he's had the chance to settle in for a week or so.

Congrats Matt and welcome aboard. There is some great info on Ball Python care on the site. I wouldn't go by what the petsore tells you, I find that info can be really generic or downright wrong at times

Thanks Lewie! Although I just recently joined, I have been reading up on this forum for the past few months before getting my ball. You guys are a great resource for newbies like me!

Congrats on your new ball python, and I hope you enjoy the site.

    Is this your first snake/reptile?

Thanks, Christie! This is my first snake, but not my first reptile. I have had a couple of jackson's chameleons in the past. I am very excited about the new addition!
