I'm new
the 10/05/2008 I have bought one couple of beby ball python.
this when i heve bought its don't never eaten.
the problem is that still my female don't have eaten.
what will I do?

What were they eating before you got them according to the seller?

It doesn't matter how long they are and it doesn't matter how old they are. Also, Vander already said the female has not eaten since October.

Hi Vander~ Could you tell us about the size and type of the environment(s) they are in? What are the temps? Do they have hides? Are you housing them together? How is your heat controlled?

So often there is a simple husbandry issue that is responsible for a snake not eating. The more information you can give regarding their set-up, the better we might be able to spot something that you could change and might bring forth eating success!!

I think he's using the European (?) format for the date so he means May 10, 2008.

I have bought them in MAY no october,sorry.she don't eating about one month.
When I have bought them I have put them in an terrarium toghether but separated ,but they are able to go in other side of terrarium.
Now I have put them in a plastic cage(rack) of 80l x 60 x 18H,but thei are separated because inside this cage there is another cage of 70 x 40 x 17. and now they can not go in ather part of snake's cage.
so I have put the male because is able to eat in cage 70 x 40 x 17,and the female in remaining part.
the male May 25 was 49 cm (19,3 inch) while the female was 43 cm (17 inch).
when I have bought them they was male 42 cm and female 43 cm.
humidity is 60 ,70 % temps are hot side 30, 32 and another side 26 , they have water
they have hideout.
I have given them live mice,
I have bought them baby and they have eaten throught stomach tube.
male eat regularly.
They were born 14th april and I have bought them 10th may .
help me

Hi,

Just to bring everyone else up to speed the reason I said deja vu was I saw his thread on Adams forum.

I still think they should not have sold you snakes that were being tube fed.

How much do they weigh?

Do you have any pictures (to try and assess body condition) - this might help us work out if she needs to be assist fed or if trying to adjust housing might be enough.

If she has lost condition to the extent that they were right to tube feed she may need assist feeding to keep her going but that is also very stressfull so we need to know if it is warranted.
