blood shed question

having trouble getting mine to shed her head correctly
she sheds from behind her head back perfectly
but I always have to help her with her head
humidity is 50-60 everyday 70-80% during sheds large water dish to soak
fountain that she loves to play in ....
tried humidity hide but she hates it won't stay in it more then 2 minutes

comments and ideas?

Try bumping up her average RH to 60%-65%.

What kind of enclosure are you using?

she is in a glass aquarium right now 3 feet x 2 feet heat lamp plus under tank heat pad
mesh top half covered to keep in moisture
hides both ends water in middle green turf for flooring
mist twice a day water fountain filled twice a day cleaned min. once a week two logs 1 rock and a stone sculpture for rubbing on fake plants for roaming security
very active at night eats every 10 days though offered every 7
temps 80-85 cool side 88-90 warm but she rather cool side to sleep handled everyday generally no more then 10-15 minutes except saturdays when she gets to roam outside of tank for a bit in secured livingroom supervised

You may want to consider swapping out the turf bedding for newspaper or kraft paper, and give the snake a nice, thick layer to hide under. The humidity is naturally higher under the paper, and bloods love to hide under it.

Your hot spot is also quite warm. Blood pythons prefer cooler temps than other species. If you feel you absolutely need one, try bumping it down to 86-88, with an ambient temperature around 80-82 degrees.

Additionally, if you have the option to move this snake into a rubbermaid-tub style setup, it may significantly reduce the amount of "balancing" you have to do in terms of keeping humidity & heat in the correct range.

ok I made some changes today Added moss to up humidity

I will start dropping temp during the day as well see if that makes a difference
