Please understand that the following announcement is not made easily or lightly. But after tremendous amounts of discussion and consideration, the entire staff is in agreement that our choice is in the best interest of Ball-Pythons.net.
The member known as Cueball has been involved in the theft of animals and used BP.net to sell stolen animals to an unknowing party. Chris was given the option of making a public confession and apology himself, or be asked to leave BP.net and be banned from returning. Chris opted to stay silent and let us deal with the matter as we felt best. His silence was not a failure to reply, but rather a reply that said he would not post anything and that we should do what's best for BP.net.
The staff has already felt the stun of this blow and we know it will hit many members here very hard. However, to protect the interests of the innocent parties involved in this mess, we will NOT be discussing the details of what went on. This is not the BOI and will not be treated as such. This thread will be locked and public discussion of the matter will not be allowed. If you feel you have a legitimate inquiry about this matter, you may PM JLC. Inquiries to other staff members will simply be fowarded to her.
We realize this announcement can't help but to generate significant and even painful ripples...but try to remember that innocent people have already been hurt enough. Please respect their privacy.
