First off, please excuse my grammer. I'm doing this on my phone.

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with some of edstrom's more specific and pricier rodent valves.

I currently use the regular $3.50 valves that are sold by most reptile suppliers. These are the same valves used for rabbits. Once in a while, a flood can occur, which blows. This is usually due to bedding being jammed into the sipper valve.

Some of the other valves that edstrom offers are specific to various rodents. They have protective guards on the sipper. Here is the catch, these valves range in price from 10$ to 25$.

Obviously I would hate to blow all that money on something that doesn't work. What I mean by that is near 100% prevention of floods.

I am at work so I don't have the actual valve models available. However, most anyone who has automatic rodent watering systems set up knows exactly what I'm talking about. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
