    Cuban Boa

Looks like my Cuban Boa is gravid...My adults are 2001 CB animals and I raised them from hatchlings. This is the fist year I've tried to breed them.

Cuban Boas are more in relation to Anaconda's if I'm not mistaken, right?

Their scientific name is Epicrates angulifer...They are more related to Rainbow Boas.

They are pretty nippy when they are young and may musk...With frequent handling they will usually grow out of this. My adults are a little aggressive, but I don't handle them often. Mine are very curious and out going snakes.

My pair is fairly small, I would guess my female is around 7' and the male about 4'...Although females can hit the 12' range.

They have very small litters, usually under 10. The babies are pretty big though.

    Re: Cuban Boa

Wow, they are really neat looking. I wonder why they are not as popular as some boas?

Are there any proven morphs within this species?
