    Back Or Belly Heat

    Is it Efficent Enough just using Back heat on a 7tub-32q rack, or is belly heat the way too go? building my own rack instead of ordering. was going too use 11inch flex along the back?

    imo, for such a small quart size tub, i think the back heating should be plenty good

    I think back heat is better if you have lower ambient temps as it does better at raising your ambient temp like a radiant heat panel would but if your ambient temps are OK then belly heat would be more efficient at just providing a hot spot.

    Back heat is installed in both of my baby racks and those are 6 quart tubs. I've also got back heat in my arboreal rack and I've never had a problem keeping temps up in either style.

    belly heat helps herps digest their food as well so keep that in mind
