This morning Jeff and I decided to get up and take Sway to the park. We went to Brooks Park and walked around for a bit and then decided to go down to the Rappahannock River. We have had a lot of rain lately and the river is pretty high for the first time in a while. Of course I took my camera and got some pics to share!!!
Before we left Brooks Park I was walking Sway and had just told Jeff that "with all the rain you would think we would have seen a turtle." and don't you know..we saw one within 1 minute of me saying that!
here is the lil guy...he was getting some sun.
Oh and when we got to the river there were these 2 geese.
and Sway wanted them geese!!!
The marker shows how high the river is...It has receded quite a bit in the past couple days. It was in the red.
We walked to the top to get a better view.
On our way back down we saw a momma duck and her lil ones.
Sway wanted to get the ducks too.

It was a really nice morning to be outside. We walked around till Sway was ready to fall over and now she is passed out and sleeping on my woobie.
