But he has been soaking in his water bowl for around an hour now, but did acouple weird things with his head, he would run it under water, then come up, then rub his head against the side of the water bowl then would rub it against the tanks glass or whatever he could..?? Is he trying to start shedding or whats he doing?? Thanks ya guys

If you find a nice long shed in the next couple days then you will know. Sometimes you will miss them goin "blue" and you just walk up to see a shed. There is no other way to know.
And Jas, just chill! LOL...sorry dude, I could not resist. Believe me, i'm right there with ya.

If he continues to do that - check the surfaces that he's rubbing on to see if he's "slimed" them - which would be mucus and could be an indication of an RI.

Or it could just be his face was itchy.

Sometimes snakes will also soak a little after having a big meal.

John, you make it sound like no one around here but YOU has anything useful to say about anything. It's posts like this that give other sites a bad name for hostility and attacking "newbies". I can completely understand a bit of impatience in seeing the same basic questions over and over again, or feeling like someone needs their hand held through every little movement their animal makes....BUT THAT'S WHAT THIS SITE IS HERE FOR.

I don't care how impatient you are feeling or how stupid you think this all is. This site is NOT HERE FOR YOU. It will NOT be run in Jasball's Image. If these sorts of threads bother you so deeply then just skip them and move on to something you do feel worthy of your godlike skills.

Wow, Judy~ I never knew you had it in you!
To the OP: it is really important for a new keeper (in most non-emergent instances) to stop and think and observe prior to posting. Also, the search feature and stickies are really really useful and ought to be checked out
