    First POV?

Well, My IJ female had a post ovulation shed the day before yesterday. I'm hoping that she'll drop before I go on vacation in june.

    Re: First POV?

I will be gone for about 10 days during the 2nd weekend of june.

If she drops when I'm gone, I'm going to tell my petsitter to leave her alone, maybe mist in the cage, and let her incubate them. The person who agreed several months ago to watch the animals (hopefully she'll still do it, I've been out sick from work and haven't been able to contact her for a month ) isn't a herper, so I don't want to put added stress on everything and have her try to deal with an upset IJCP momma. Then I'll put the eggs in the incubator when I get home.

This is my first season with breeding carpet pythons and the first time I expect to see snake eggs. So I dunno how much is pretty gravid with carpet pythons... and the first season I've seen an ovulation. She's been hanging out on the heat all the time and hiding, which isn't normal behavior for her. She is vocal now about being touched or being handled right now as well.
