    Rack Question

I'm in the process of building a melamine rack and had a question about spacing for the tubs.

I have the tubs and a 1/8" board on top of them, is there a certain amount of spacing that is needed for racks?

I'm trying to figure out of I need to take what I have apart and space them a little more with spacers like I seen in a post when i was searching around.

Any suggestions or ideas would be helpful, I also had the idea to make the two shelves I have 41 qt tub shelves since they are a little shorter than 32 qt and space them from there.

    Re: Rack Question

you just want to make sure there is enough space so the tub doesn't rub the bottom of the flexwatt too much (if you have belly heat). the spacing above the tub doesn't have to be air tight but enough room to move the tub in and out

    Re: Rack Question

I like to use 1/8" to 3/16" of a space when I build my racks. That lets the tub slide nice and easy without putting a lot of wear on the Flexwatt!
