We breed rats since by the time they are done breeding they are to big to be fed to a ball python generally. We take them to the pet store and trade them for mice feeders. They get used to feed the larger snakes at the store, but we don't have to see it!

Yeah, I couldn't kill off my 2 favorite mice breeders a while ago...but could eventually. I find if you get bitten by one, makes it easier.

Ive had to do this a few times aready, and one was with a female that had given me good litters and was the only one who was a silver albino. I co2ed her and threw her over our fence, I couldnt feed her off Id never be able to get rid of my rats if I bred them!
