How much do they cost?
I've been interested in getting a Chondro for a long time now and decided that it's time to get down and do the nitty gritty research. I understand, like all snakes, that there are different morphs that are more expensive than others, but if I wanted to buy a normal green tree python, how much would it run me?

You could probably get one for $250 or less, but plan on spending a bit more from a reputable breeder... around $300 - $400 depending on looks, locale, etc.

I don't know the specific morph/scientific name but how much would a nice blue one cost? lol

lol... morphs are a whole different animal, so to speak. If I were to guess, I would say they might start in the $2-3k range although this guy would probably be much more.
I couldn't imagine how much this guy would cost.

Well, I think I might start out with a normal one to keep my budget down. I still have to save up. Who are some reputable breeders?

Re: How much do they cost?
I only have one normal Chondro so I haven't had much experience dealing with Chondro breeders, but the big names out there are people like Greg Maxwell and Trooper Walsh.
If I was looking for a reputable breeder, I would check out the Kingsnake listings then research the breeder on the Fauna BOI if I found one that I liked.
Hopefully someone over here could offer you some leads as well.
Good luck!

That blue one is simply amazing! I could not imagine what it cost. I was interested in a GTP as well, then ended up getting an ATB. Who knows, there may still be a GTP in my future

You can get a captive hatched one for around $250... sometimes these can be more tricky to establish than captive hatched balls.
Captive bred usually start at about $500 from a good breeder... I'd hop over to http://moreliaviridis.yuku.com and check out their classifieds, or just make a post describing what you are looking for. It's that time of year and a lot of breeders have eggs or babies that they are getting established.
I am getting a hatchling from Andrew Aman in Austin, TX... his clutch is from a Merauke female bred to a high yellow line male. I know Aaron from iherp.com is also expecting from two very pretty adults.
