Aluminum tape found at Costco or Lowes in the heating department. Great stuff that conducts well and has a strong adhesive.

i second the aluminum tape. i use it to tape the flexwatt to the bottom of the rack shelf (or tub in my quarantine set up). i also use it to tape the probes to the flexwatt.

i found a role at Lowes near in the heating and air conditioning stuff.

For the outside of the enclosure - Foil tape
NO tape should be used INside the enclosure. To keep thermometer probes relatively in place, use the hide (since the probe should be in the substrate under the hide anyway) to hold the wire down.

Ah... good point, I was only thinking about an outside probe placement. However, I've heard of people (Admin Judy for one) using a small piece of scotch tape to secure the probe to newspaper substrate inside of the enclosure. If the snake pulls the probe up, the scotch tape will just tear the paper and won't be a danger to the snake.
