    the shed

hi peoples.last night at about 4am i noticed my bp was shedding.i could hear the skin cracking so i hurried and tried to look but he was behind a plant rubbing on it.after a hour or so i lifted up the plant to get a peak and noticed the skin around the belly was very bad looking.it looked like a snake that has lived for hundreds of years.belly skin was hanging it just looked awfull.i was totally freaked out.at the time the only old skin that was off the head.anyways i read the stickied post on the shed process and i never seen this described.so to anyone lucky enough to see the process dont freak like i did.after hours of not sleeping,i finally got to bed.woke up to a beutifully shed bp.2 pieces.i cant explain the relief.since i see he is doing great my guess is that the sagging of the skin is due the the build up of fluid between the layers of skin.

Try to find, on the shed skin, the eye caps. Also, visually check the snake for any left over shed, especially around the tail and tail tip!

Soak him (as per the shed sticky) or even get your fingers wet and roll it off that way. Just depends on how it is on there... Sorry, I can't see your snake!
