    Appropriate tank/tub size for baby/young BP

    I 'm wondering what the appropriate size tank/tub would be that would still allow enough surface area to allow for a temperature gradient. Thanks.

    Tank = 10 gallon
    Tub = hmm, 12qt for hatchlings, maybe 21qt for a youngster? Not sure with tubs.

    The tank works great, tho. My 10g has a better temp gradient and holds humidity a lot better than my 20L.

    I recently switched to tubs and they are great at holding humidity. I got a 30qt one for my 30" and 400g bp.

    Re: Appropriate tank/tub size for baby/young BP

    I honestly think tubs would be best for BPs, but stupid me I didn't research anything before I bought it. I just saw it one day in the pet store, and was like, Hmmmm I want a snake. So I bought it. Cost me a Crap load of money and now I'm wasting my time and energy trying and stressing over keeping the humidity at the right percentage and heat at a constant temperature. So when I get a few months or maybe year/s, then I'll switch to tubs. But don't get a tank if you didn't get one. The humidity and problems I mentioned ar a pain in the :cens0r:
