A careless driver recently plowed into my mom's car, completely totaling it. No other reason than "Oops, didn't see her there!" Thank God she made it out with relatively minor injuries & is back on her feet and recovering well. We're so fortunate that things weren't any worse. Ruined cars can be replaced; people are a bit more fragile. It's shocking just how quickly life can change simply because someone else wasn't paying attention.
