    boa problem

My friend got a boa today from a reptile show and when he got him home he noticed there was a bump on the right side of his mouth. I haven't seen it yet, but hes describing it as a pretty big bump on the side of its mouth right under his eye. I'll be over there tomorrow so I can get a picture, but does anyone have any idea of what it could be? The snake will be going to the vet ASAP if it's not an easy fix

It could be anything and it’s really hard to diagnosis without some really good pictures. It sounds like to could be and abscess though. It’s hard to tell. Why didn’t your friend notice this while he was at the show?

    Here's the pictures.

any ideas what it is? Whatever it is, it's not affecting his eating. He's already ate 2 small rats.

Abscess. He needs to go to the vet and have that surgically removed, then put on antibiotics.
