At last! She ate at last!

She finally ate for the first time since July. I through in a live mouse. It wandered around the cage and then put it's head in to her hide and bam! All I saw was it's rear end go limp and then it was pulled in to the hide never to be seen again.

    Yay!

I'm glad your snake finally ate! You must have been worried.

Was this a wild caught or captive hatched? Or could this be a snake bred here? I'm just curious. I bet that you are relieved in any case.

Re: At last! She ate at last!

BP's have been know to go as long as 18 months without eating.

I am glad mine didn't take that long. It was frustrating enough as it was. I just hope she stays on feed now.

Big congratulations! I too have dealt with a non feeder for some months, and it's such a relief when they finally take that first meal.
