    Serpent at the Door

My husband Dave was home today and took this great picture of our female Morelia bredli, Juluungaal.

Guess it's time for a bigger hide!

    Re: Serpent at the Door

She's an almost 2yr old Morelia bredli, or Centralian carpet python. They originate from the dead center of Australia, around the Alice Springs area. Julu is about 3.5ft long and just started eating weaned rats.

Her and the male I have are two of my very favorite snakes.

She's gorgeous! Anymore pictures of her, and maybe some of the male, they are perhaps my favorite of the carpets.

That's the best one of her I have for now. Since the weather is improving, I'm hoping for some updated pics soon!

here's a picture of Jika Jika, my male. This is a few months old but he's pretty much the same.

    Re: Serpent at the Door

Perhaps I am wrong - but I'm pretty sure the guys on the Morelia forum insist that Bredlis are not "carpet" pythons - it's a misnomer.

    Sweet picts tho guys
